Taoiseach calls for ‘special progress’ on border issue during Brexit talks

 

The government could block the progress of Britain’s Brexit negotiations over fears it hasn’t addressed concerns about the border with Northern Ireland.
The Taoiseach has said that not enough progress has been made on the issue ahead of the October deadline for the next stage of negotiations.
Speaking at the Fine Gael think-in yesterday, Leo Varadkar called for “special progress” on range of issues including the border before stage two of talks can begin.
