Donemara win North-West Cricket Premiership

Donemara have won the Northwest Cricket Premiership after a nine-wicket win over Fox Lodge yesterday evening.

The game was due to be played earlier in the afternoon and poor weather conditions threatened to cancel the fixtures.

But, after 6pm when the skies cleared, the teams took to the field with Donemara needing a win to secure the title.

They did so with a comprehensive nine-wicket victory in Ballymagory.
