Killybegs fell narrowly short of the last four of the Michael Murphy’s Sports Senior Football Championship yesterday, with a 2-13 – 0-15 loss to Naomh Connaill.
Naomh Connaill were strong favourites going into the match, but the young Killybegs side pushed them close in a hard-fought encounter.
It was an especially good performance from Hugh McFadden, who grabbed 12 of the 15 points as Killybegs bow out of the championship.
