IWO outreach service should not be cut in Gweedore – Doherty

Deep concern has been expressed over plans to cut outreach services for people with disabilities in West Donegal.
It is believed the Irish Wheelchair Association is to to cut its outreach services in Gweedore from two days to one with funding due to be redirected to provide an additional service day in Letterkenny.
Donegal Deputy Pearse Doherty says lack of new referrals in Gweedore and a growing demand for the service in Letterkenny is to blame.
He is calling on Government Chief Whip and Gaeltacht Minister Joe McHugh to provide the neccessary funding to ensure service levels at the Dobhair centre to stay the same………….
