More people in NI seeking to buy homes in Donegal

There's been an increase in the number of people based in Northern Ireland looking to Donegal border villages for new homes.

A Letterkenny based financial services company say they've experienced a significant increase in mortgage enquiries from young couples seeking homes across the border.

Pascal Curran of Advice First says the number of mortgage enquiries to their office from young people living or working in the North rose by almost 35% between January and June, with the majority of queries centred around Inishowen.

Mr.Curran says he expects that trend to continue for now, but in the long term, the impact of Brexit remains to be seen..........
