Dentists claim investment in school service now would save money in the long term


There are concerns Irish children aren’t having their first dental check up early enough in their development.
International guidelines suggest children should have their first dental exam by their first birthday.
But here, many are having to wait until they’re 12 to have their first check-up.
Dr Gerard Roarty is a dentist in Donegal.
