Residents in Killea raise concern over upkeep of local cemetery


Concern has been raised by residents in the Killea area over general appearance of the local Cemetery.
It’s understood that the upkeep of the graveyard is not on a regular basis while the lack of car parking facilities is also a worry as it leads onto one of the main routes from Donegal to Derry.
Derry Councillor Patricia Logue says she has spoken to officials at Derry City and Strabane District Council and they have agreed to place it on the rota for upkeep.
Cllr. Logue is also calling on relevant bodies to implement safety measures there:
