There were 20 people waiting for a bed at Letterkenny University Hospital according to the latest trolley watch report.
Nine people were on trolleys in its Emergency Department while a further eleven were on wards.
University Hospital Limerick was the most overcrowded with 42 people waiting there.
Nationally there were 329 people waiting at hospitals across the country.
