The Save Our Services group, which campaigns for Lifford, Ramelton and St Joseph’s Community Hospitals, has met with Senior HSE officials to discuss the future of the three facilities.
The group was briefed on plans to spend €2.7 million on the Stranorlar Hospital and €1.7 million on the Ramelton unit, complying with HIQA standards.
The SOS Executive has described this as a major step forward, but says there are still serious questions surrounding the future of Lifford Hospital.
