Derry minors claim Ulster crown


Derry minors have been crowned champions of Ulster after beating a strong Cavan outfit by a scoreline of 1-22 – 2-12, in Clones.
Derry were beaten finalists in last year’s Ulster final with Shaun-Paul Barrett’s Donegal side coming out on top on that occasion.
But, a new-look Derry side, led by manager Damien McErlain bounced back this year, to claim the Ulster crown.
