World Class athletes to feature at this evenings Letterkenny International Meet

An impressive line up of world class athletes will be aiming to fly high this evening at the fifth staging of the Letterkenny International Track & Field meeting at the Danny McDaid Track at the Aura Centre.
The event will feature over 100 athletes from 20 countries competing across a range of 14 track & field events, with many coming in search of a qualifying standard for the World Athletics championships which are due to take place in London in August.
Three time Olympian, and double Olympic finalist Bruno de Barros from Brazil is one of a number of sprinting stars that will take on the Mens 100m & 200m.
The feature race – the Mens Mile, has sub 4 minute milers in a stacked field. American college standout Robert Domanic from the University of Mississippi, leads the entry list with a personal best of 3:54.
Commonwealth Games silver medallist Meghan Beesley confirmed her entry earlier this week for the Womens 400m Hurdles race.
The first event starts at 7:00pm with the Mile at 8.45pm.
