Donegal minors into Ulster League Shield final after comfortable win


Donegal minors ran out comfortable winners over Down yesterday, to qualify for the Ulster Minor League Shield final.
An impressive performance from Naomh Columba man Aaron Doherty – who scored 2-05 – inspired Donegal on their way to a 2-12 – 2-09 victory.
While the scoreline may suggest a tight encounter, the victory came at the ease of Shaun Paul Barrett’s side.
They now face Armagh in the final next weekend.
