There’s going to be a Friends musical later this year

We’re booking tickets to New York right now.
It’s been thirteen years since Friends ended but we still cannot get enough.
Now, joy of joys, it looks like we’re getting a chance to see Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe brought to life again. And they’ll be singing.
The show will be written by pop culture parody masters Bob and Tobly McSmith, whose previous productions include off-Broadway hits 90210! The Musical!, Katdashians! The Musical! and the Saved by the Bell parody Bayside! The Musical!
The musical debuts this autumn at the Triad Theatre in NYC. It is unofficial and hasn’t been endorsed by the original creators of the beloved sitcom.
The songs will reference several of the show’s hilarious and memorable moments, with names on the song list that has been released including “The One Where We Make A Million Dollars An Episode”, “The Only Coffee Shop in New York”, “Oh. My God. It’s Janice!”, “The Ballad of Fat Monica”, “How you Doing, Ladies?”, “We Were On A Break” and “We’ll Always Be There For You.”
In some of their past productions, the McSmiths have convinced former cast members to guest star for a show or two. We doubt we’ll see cameos from any of the main cast but how about supports like Janice (played by Maggie Wheeler) or Gunther (James Michael Tyler)?
