60 year-old in serious condition after being discovered seriously injured inside a property in Derry

A 60 year-old man remains in a serious condition in hospital after he was discovered seriously injured inside a property in Derry.
The man was discovered at around 8am this morning in a house in Sperrin Park and has since been taken to hospital where he is understood to be in a very serious condition.
A 42 year-old man has been arrested in Derry following the incident.
The PSNI are appealing to anyone who has any information regarding the assault or who can assist in the investigation to contact detectives at Strand Road police station on the non-emergency number 101.
