Caoimhe McKnight has been selected to replace Councillor Elisha McCallion on Derry and Strabane District Council.
Cllr. McKnight was endorsed by her Sinn Fein party colleagues after former Mayor McCallion topped the poll in the recent Foyle Assembly election.
