Junior Minister Joe McHugh has met with representatives of the SOS Community Hospital Group to assure them of his continued support for the retention and upgrade of the services at Ramelton, Lifford and Stranorlar Community Hospitals.
Minister McHugh has revealed that he has submitted a funding request to retain the services at the three community hospitals and to construct a new 120-bed unit in Letterkenny.
It has been confirmed that a review of the community hospitals’ services is ongoing, Minister McHugh is hopeful that following the review funding can be attained:
