PSNI in Derry appeal for information following fire which caused extensive damage


Police in Derry are appealing for witnesses to a fire which caused extensive damage to a flat in the Glendara area of the city this morning.
The PSNI have confirmed that no-one was in the property when the incident occurred at approximately 6:30am this morning.
Detective Inspector Michael Winters says they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire and would ask anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area to contact detectives at Strand Road Police Station on the non-emergency number 101,  quoting reference 240 of 4/3/17.
