Stapleton on score sheet as Ireland Ladies win again in Six Nations

Donegal’s Nora Stapleton was on the score sheet again to kick-start Ireland’s scoring in their win over Italy, in Rome, today.
After kicking for touch three times, Stapleton decided to go for the points on the fourth penalty which she put between the posts to give Ireland the lead after 28 minutes.
The battling continued in a low scoring first half which ended with the scoreline even at three points a piece.
Ireland came out all guns blazing in the second half and after 10 minutes their pressure paid off with Leah Lyons running in their first try of the game; with Stapleton on hand put the conversion between the posts.
Four minutes later, they were over again to double their lead and the kick was good once again.
Two more tries from Ireland secured the bonus point and puts them on top of the table after two games.
Final Score: Italy 3- 27 Ireland
