Government is doing all they can to minimise the impact of Brexit on Donegal – Minister McHugh

Speaking after a Brexit conference hosted by Taoiseach Enda Kenny, Minister Joe McHugh is positive the Government is doing all they can to minimise the impact of Brexit on Donegal.
He says the Taoiseach has made clear his view that any manifestation of a hard border would have very negative consequences for our country and the Peace Process
The Minister warned that the peace process is still fragile, however, he added that it was their preference to maintain the closest possible trading relationship between the UK and the EU, particularly along the border between Donegal, Derry, Tyrone and Fermanagh.
He added that he will continue to reflect these concerns in London next week:
