Recognition for three Donegal schools at BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2017

Three schools in Donegal have been highly commended at BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2017.
The event held in the BT Arena at Dublin’s RDS last night recognises school’s engagement in STEM projects.
STEM projects engage students in the critical subjects of science, technology, engineering and maths.
The teacher award for Intel Educator of Excellence went to Pobalscoil Gaoth Dobhair.
Cholaiste Cholmcille was highly commended for their Biological and Ecological project, ‘Can mirror therapy improve basketball skills?’
Magh Ene College’s Social and Behavioural Sciences project, ‘A survey of parental attitudes in the North-West towards the HPV vaccine.
