Inishowen come out on top in ten goal thriller: Diarmaid O’Brien Reaction

Inishowen came from behind to defeat the Cavan/Monaghan League team in the Oscar Traynor Trophy group stages, yesterday evening.
Diarmaid O’Brien’s side went behind in the opening minute through Gary Hessin before Barry McLaughlin leveled the game minutes later. But, another goal from Hessin sent the visitors a goal up going into half-time.
A number of changes in the second half from O’Brien sparked a comeback and they ended the game four goals to the good with a final score of 7-3.
Both sides had already qualified to the knockout stages having won their opening two fixtures, but, the result means that Inishowen could have home advantage in the next round.
