PSNI issue appeal following two incidents in the Strabane and Newtownstewart areas

Police in Strabane are appealing for information on two seperate incidents.
One involving an assault resulting in serious injuries and the other when an unknown male was discovered in a property in the Newtownstewart area in the early hours of this morning.
Police in Strabane are appealing for information regarding a male who was seriously injured as a result of an assault in Abercorn Square in the town in the early hours of Christmas Eve.
In a seperate incident, Police are warning people to secure all properties and cars after an unknown male was disturbed inside the hallway of a property in the Mourne Lodge Crescent area of Newtownstewart in the early hours of this morning.
At approximately 3am the male was discovered and was then seen heading the town centre.
He is described as approximately 5 foot 10 in height, wearing dark Adidas tracksuit bottoms and a dark top on with a hat or hoody.
