Chief Superintendent says there are no plans to downgrade the Donegal Drugs Unit

Prominent Anti-Drugs campaigner PJ Blake says he has been assured by the Chief Superintendent in Donegal that there are no plans to change the Drugs Unit in the county.
Mr Blake, a former Town Councillor had been concerned that the unit would be downgraded, but Chief Superintendent Terry Mc Ginn has said that is not on the cards.
Mr Blake recently outlined his concerns at a meeting with Superintendent Michael Finan, and has welcomed the Chief Superintendent’s response.
He says his one concern is the letter stresses that all operations are contingent on available resources……..
