Teenage motorbike racer Rhys Irwin has had a year to remember in the sport.

The Kilmacrennan 14-year-old took five wins and 24 podiums en route to finishing second in the British Superteen Championship, while also winning the Irish Masters, against riders who were older and more experienced than him.

He was also unbeaten in Ireland and was third in the Irish Rider of the Year award.

Rhys (pictured) also travelled to Spain on an invite to the Red Bull trials.
