PSNI probe possible link between Tyrone burglaries

Detectives in Tyrone are investigating whether a number of weekend burglaries in the Newtownstewart and Strabane area are linked.
Over the weekend a total of four houses were broken into with some jewellery items and sums of cash stolen, the PSNI are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Jewellery was taken from a house in the Hawthornes area of Sion Mills when it was broken into shortly before midnight on Saturday.
Also in the Glen Road area of Newtownstewart a number of items of jewellery and a sum of cash were stolen between 6pm on Saturday evening and 12.30am.
Between Saturday morning and Saturday evening a house in the Brookvale area of Strabane was entered and between 9pm on Saturday night and 8.30am yesterday morning a house in the Davis Crescent area of Newtownstewart was also entered.
Detectives are appealing for anyone with any information about the burglaries to contact them on the non-emergency number from Northern Ireland 101.
