A Donegal Deputy is calling on the Government to address the plight of the undocumented Irish in US following the election result there.
It’s estimated that there are 50,000 undocumented Irish living in America, many from County Donegal and who have been there for some time but do not have full citizenship rights.
Donegal Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher is calling on the Government to urgently establish a special task force to work to support them.
He says many people will be deeply concerned over their future under a Trump administration:
