Gregory Mc Gonigle has confirmed he is stepping down as Dublin manager.

The Derry native and former Monaghan boss took the Dubs to three Leinster titles in a row as well as all Ireland finals.

In a statement Mc Gonigle said he feels the time is right for a new voice to help this group of players achieve their ultimate goal of winning an All-Ireland title.
