Donegal champions campaign in Ulster ended in their first match today when they were beaten by Kilcoo.

This quarter-final defeat at Pairc Esler in Newry looked promising for Glenswilly when Michael Murphy got a penalty.

But Kilcoo were in command for large parts and later got a penalty of their own, which Darragh O’Hanlon converted.

Glenswilly’s chances were made all the more difficult when their Cathal Gallagher got a red card for pulling down Conor Laverty.

It ended in a six-point victory for Down champions Kilcoo, who now play Armagh side Maghery.
