Concern over proposed speed limit outside Dooish National School, Ballybofey

The Board of Management at Dooish National School in Ballybofey has expressed concern over the councils plans to increase the speed limit outside the school to 100 km/h.
At the moment amber flashing lights are in place to advise motorists to slow down on approach to the school during peak times.
Donegal County Council has proposed the increased speed limit with the amber lights to remain in place.
Michelle Ni Current, Chairperson of the Board of Management has said that this speed limit will not be adhered to unless Gardai are in place to reinforce it.
