Munster rugby coach Anthony Foley has passed away suddenly, it has been announced.
He died in a Paris hotel overnight.
The 42-year-old, from Limerick, passed away ahead of today’s scheduled Champions Cup fixture between Munster and Racing 92.
Following the sad death, the IRFU published the above photo and issued this statement: “As a mark of respect to Anthony and his family and and to support players, management and staff, Muster Rugby have requested that today’s European Champions Cup match against Racing 92 be rescheduled.”
