The victorious Glenswilly team and management have begun their celebrations after winning the Donegal Senior Football Championship Final.
Captain Michael Murphy led his team-mates to an historic win over Kilcar, who started the match as many fans’ favourites for the 2016 title.
Michael (pictured above, thanks to Brian McDaid) scored the goal that steered the Glen men to the win which the Glenswilly coaching team revealed had been carefully planned.
Highland Radio’s GAA correspondent Tom Comack spoke first with former manager Gary McDaid, players Joe Gibbons and Neil Gallagher, manager Michael Canning, man of the match Murphy, and captain Gary McFadden.
Gary launched the celebratory talk by revealing the club devised a gameplan to stop the Kilcar juggernaut and said the players’ execution of it was “second-to-none”…
