Derry City confirm European spot with Bohs win

Derry City came from a goal down against Bohemians at the Brandywell on Friday night to secure European football for next season with a deserved 2-1win.
Bohs went ahead in the 17th minute. Kurtis Byrne rounded the keeper and his shot hit Conor McDermott and Cristian Castells could not keep the ball out.
From the restart, Derry got the ball to the Bohs box and Rory Patterson rounded the keeper and went on to hit a weak shot at goal.
Aaron McEneff hit the post from 20 yards in the 28th minute.
Josh Daniels sent a low cross from the right into the area and Dean Jarvis scored from close range only for the goal to be disallowed for offside.
Rory Patterson hit the bar on the stroke of halftime with a fine drive.
City levelled on 50 minutes when Aaron McEneff scored from the penalty spot.
Patterson got the winner on 63 minutes when he poked home from close range after a mad rush from both sides to try to gain control of the ball in the box.
Derek Prendergast headed inches wide of the Derry goal when he met a cross from a corner in the 95the minute.
