Donegal will play Antrim in the first round of the 2017 Ulster Senior Football Championship.

Rory Gallagher's side will kick start their provincial campaign at home with the Ulster Council to confirm the match details of the game at a later date.

The last time the Saffrons played Donegal was at the semi final stage in 2014 while back in 2011 they met in Ballybofey in the preliminary round.

Donegal have been placed in the same side of the draw as their neighbouring counties and will meet the winners of Derry and Tyrone in the semi finals.

Ulster Champions Tyrone start the defence of the Anglo Celt Cup in a repeat of last summers quarter final at Celtic Park.

Monaghan will start the championship against Fermanagh with the winners to play Cavan in the quarter final.

Rivals Down and Armagh will face off in the other quarter final.
