Ulster Senior League manager Peter Moran has confirmed a 20-man panel for this weekend’s FAI Intermediate Interprovincials, to be hosted by the Munster Senior League in Cork.
Moran (Bonagee United) will be assisted by Anthony Gorman (Letterkenny Rovers) and Gavin Cullen (Cockhill Celtic).
Injury prevents Cullen from being involved in the squad as a player.
The USL concluded preparations on Tuesday night with a 5-2 win at Dergview, Stephen Duffy netted three with Conor Tourish and Davitt Walsh also on the mark.
Youngsters like Duffy could be key this weekend given that Moran will be without the likes of Malachy McDermott, Garbhan Friel, Jimmy Bradley, David Shovlin and Matthew Crossan.
They begin the weekend on Friday night against Leinster Senior League at St Mary’s Park before taking on Connacht at Corinthians Park on Saturday ahead of a clash with hosts Munster at Turner’s Cross on Sunday.
Speaking with Diarmaid Doherty,  USL Manager Peter Moran is confident his squad can put in a big weekend.
