LYIT suffer defeat to Sligo in colleges opener

 
The LYIT started their Colleges and Universities Football League campaign with defeat this afternoon to Sligo IT in Letterkenny.
Paul Mc Veigh gave LYIT the lead with fourteen minutes on the clock only for the visitors to score two second half goals fromConnor Brennan and Mark Connaughton to take the win.
The LYIT are away to Tallaght IT in their second game next week.
