The Letterkenny man hammered the ball in past keeper Brendan Clarke on 91 minutes to give Harps a deserved share of the spoils.
Ollie Horgan’s side had piled on the pressure in the closing stages after falling behind just after the hour. Buncrana’s Mark Timlin had given St. Pat’s the lead with a well worked goal on 63.
The visitors were the better side for long periods, but Harps, to their credit, were always well in this game and they got the equaliser their pressure deserved right at the death.
The referee had played ten minutes of injury time following an injury to Keith Cowan. But Harps only needed one of those extra minutes to find the equaliser which means they now hold a nine point lead over Wexford who have only four games left to play.
