Dundalk have reached the FAI Cup Final after winning the semi-final replay with Derry City at the Brandywell on Tuesday night.
Despite going ahead in the third minute through Ronan Curtis, Derry were unable to contain the Dundalk machine as they came back with two goals to earn passage to the Final.
Niclas Vemmelund fouled Robbie Benson in the 37th minute and Ciaran Kilduff levelled the teams with the spot kick.
The winner was a superb move from the right with Darren Meenan crossing for Ronan Finn to glance a header past Gerard Doherty.
From then on there was only one winner and Stephen Kenny deservedly leads the champions into another Final where they will play Cork.
