Donegal County Council is encouraging people to dispose of old medicines & other hazardous waste.
Beginning today, there will be free collections across Donegal.
Hazardous waste including Cleaning Agents, Waste Medicines, Batteries, Antifreeze, weed killers, Pesticides, Adhesives, Paint stripper/thinner, Aerosols, Waste Oil will all be accepted at the various collection points.
All containers, bottles, etc, must be labelled and materials clearly identifiable.
Today from now until 12pm there will be a collection at Milford Recycling Centre.
From 2pm - 5pm today Stranorlar Recycling Centre, on the Railway Road, Stranorlar is open for collection.
On Saturday 8th October there will be collection points at 9am - 12pm at the Carndonagh Recycling Centre and from 2pm - 5pm in the Letterkenny Recycling Centre.
On Saturday 15th October 9am - 12pm there will be a collection point in the Dungloe Recycling Centre and from 2pm - 5pm in Laghey Recycling Centre.
