Dundalk manager Stephen Kenny says they deserved their win over Maccabi Tel Aviv at Tallaght stadium last night.
Ciaran Kilduff scored the winner in the 72nd minute after coming off the bench.
The victory means the Lillywhites are second in the group two points behind Zenit Saint Petersburg whom they meet in Tallaght on October 20th.
