Dessie Farrell to step down from GPA post

 
The Gaelic players association have confirmed that Dessie Farrell will step-down as Chief executive this December.
Former Dublin forward Farrell says he informed their board and officers of his intention to step down as CEO some months ago.
Adding he believes this to be the optimum time to do so as the organisation is well positioned now to introduce a change of leadership
