Six settlements from Donegal on latest Tax Defaulters list

Revenue has published its latest Defaulters List which contains settlements completed by Revenue in the period 1 April 2016 to 30 June 2016.
There are six cases from Donegal listed in the latest report, with one settlement in the county for almost half a million euro.
O’Dochartaigh Hardware Teo in Bunbeg Gweedore which is now in liquidation settled with Revenue for a total of 413,818.00 euro for the underdeclaration of VAT revenue.
In Killyclug Letterkenny, Top Fresh bakeries LTD – also in liquidation – settled for 126,202.61 euro for the non-declaration of VAT & PAYE/PRSI.
Helen McCarter of Unit 7 Donegal Business Park in Donegal Town – a furnisher retailer settled with Revenue for 171,506.00 for the underdeclaration of VAT.
Meanwhile in Eglington Derry, Roemore Enterprises Limited settled with Revenue for a 174,969.00 – a Penalty Determination by the courts relating to an underdeclaration of VAT to the same amount.
Nationally in the 3-month period to period to 30 June 2016, 101 people made settlements totalling €17.44m.
