The government is being urged to provide a Catheterisation Laboratory to Letterkenny University Hospital.
Currently no such a facility exists in the North West part of the Republic, with the nearest Catheterisation Laboratory located at Galway University Hospital.
However there is a facility at Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry.
Despite this Donegal Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher says there is growing regional imbalance, and that is something the government must consider…………….
