A Donegal County Councillor is calling for an increase in Community Garda foot patrols in the Letterkenny area.
The call comes following a spate of anti-social behaviour in some estates which has left some elderly residents frightened.
Local Councillor Gerry McMonagle says particularly coming into the dark evenings, elderly residents will feel more vulnerable.
He believes an increased Garda presence in the town would solve the issue………
