Rent costs continue to rise in Donegal

The second quarter of 2016 has seen an upward trend in rent costs continue in Donegal.
In the first quarter of this year the average monthly rent in the private sector in Donegal was €467, an increase of 27 euro compared to the same period in 2015.
In the second quarter of this year there was a further 7 euro increase in rent costs.
Now the average cost of rent in private dwellings in Donegal is 474 euro.
Figures compiled by the Economic and Social Research Institute on behalf of the Residential Tenancies Board also revealed that nationally. rents were 9.9% higher this year compared to the same period in 2015.
