All Ireland preview: Dublin are hot favourites but Mayo stand a chance

GAA Ball

Tomorrow is All Ireland Final Sunday and Highland Radio’s GAA correspondent Tom Comack has spoken with two experts in the game.

RTE Sunday Game analyst Martin Carney says Mayo had a lowkey build-up and insists they remain underdogs for the showpiece at Croke Park.

But he believes there is an air of expectation that they could this year end their 65-year drought.

However, Dublin All Ireland winner Charlie Redmond says Mayo has no chance because the modern Dublin team is the best that the county has ever had.

He says the team is the best in Dublin GAA history and they will prove it by winning their fourth All Ireland in six years.
