A Councillor has expressed serious concern following the IDA’s lack of response to an invite to attend the latest Inishowen Municipal District meeting.
It had been hoped that Council members would have had the opportunity to discuss recent unemployment statistics for the district and the county.
The Council was particularly interested in hearing from the IDA on what measures are in place to attract more investment to the Inishowen area.
Cllr Albert Doherty says although the lack of response is regrettable, more efforts are to be made to have the IDA in attendance at a future meeting…………..
