Great showing by Donegal Paralympian in table tennis

Donegal’s Rena McCarron Rooney put up a great performance representing Ireland in the women’s table tennis quarter-final singles before losing out to world No.1 Seo Su-Yeon at the Paralympics in Brazil.
The Irish player was always going to be the rank outsider and battled well before losing to the Korean by three games to nil, 11-5, 11-8, 11-3.
Rena spoke afterwards to say she was happy with her performance, but really wanted to avoid Seo Su-Yeon…
