Garten Challenge Adventure Race 2016

Gartan Outdoor Education & Training Centre will stage the second Gartan Challenge Adventure Race next Saturday September 17th 2016 in conjuction with the Kilmacrennan Community Development Fund.
All proceeds raised will go towards developing much needed recreational and sports facilities in the Kilmacrennan and surrounding areas.
After the success of the inaugural event last year and a lot of very positive feedback, a shorter 30k course  has been added to the event along with the original 46k race, taking in the  idyllic surroundings of the Gartan/Church Hill area.

Long Course 46k – Run 6.73k, kayak 1k, Cycle 1 21.4k, Trail run 5.12k, Cycle 2 11.56k, Run 0.6k. Entry fee €45 (solo) €80 (team).
Short course 30k – Run 3.53k, Kayak 1k, Cycle 1 8.5k, Trail run 5.12k, Cycle 2 11.56k, Run 0.6k. Entry fee €35pp.
