It’s been confirmed that the Greenway project for Donegal – Derry routes is to receive £15 million in funding.
The project when complete, will take place on two key routes from Derry city into Donegal, linking the city with Buncrana and the village of Muff.
Welcoming the news, Foyle MLA Raymond McCartney says the routes will strengthen tourism on a cross border level.
He says this is proof that connections with the EU and Northern Ireland should remain in place:
