Derry to host major economic conference


The annual "Northern Ireland Economic Conference" will tke place in Derry next month. The conference, which is now in its 21st year, is oprganised by the business magazine Agenda NI, and will be opened by Deputy First MInister Martin Mc Guinness.

The event has been goven a cross border theme, with speakers including Donegal Local Enterptrise Office CEIO Michael Tunney and LYIT President Paul Hannigan.

Owen mc Quade is Managing Editor at Agenda NI. He says while the planning for the conference began earlier this year before the EU referendum, it's particularly fitting that it's taking place in Derry against the backdrop of Brexit...........
